However today Hunt did unveil a new contract and plan for the rest of his career:
Now, fans can rejoice as they can look forward to seeing the heavy-handed heavyweight inside the Octagon for a few more fights, as he revealed to UFC Tonight that he had inked a new six-fight deal with the Las Vegas, Nevada – based mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion.
Upon completing his contracted bouts, the 10-year MMA veteran — which includes a two-year run in PRIDE — will call it a career, as he plans on retiring from combat sports. No word if that also includes kickboxing, the sport Hunt competed and thrived in for years before getting into cagefighting.
In total, Hunt has been in the hurt business for nearly 15 years.
