Hunt: I’m knocking Stipe’s lips off
Mark Hunt: “He’s going to come to fight and so am I. I’ve always come to fight and regardless of the circumstances, I always wanna win it, and I’m knocking his lips off.”

UFC heavyweight Mark Hunt spoke with Submission Radio ahead of his fight with Stipe Miocic in the main event of UFC Fight Night 65, live on UFC Fight Pass.
How we’re going to entertain the fans is what we always do, and that’s put on a great show for the fans so they get their money’s worth. You know? We ain’t running nowhere. Well I ain’t (laughs).
He’s going to come to fight and so am I. I’ve always come to fight and regardless of the circumstances, I always wanna win it, and I’m knocking his lips off.
I can win either way. It depends on where it goes or where he wants to take it. If it goes to the ground, then you know, [I’ll be] looking for a submission there or just knocking him out. I’m always trying to win by knocking somebody out. It’s my forte.
“The camp’s gone really good, but I think I put on more muscle than I should have. That’s why I’m having the issue with the weight cut now.
I’m feeling really good. I don’t look really good, but I feel really good.
“Every fight for me is like the last fight. In my contract I have four fights with the UFC. You know I’m one of the older guys, I’m 41 now. I feel I’m getting better. Of course I feel like I’m the best fighter in the world. So long as I’m doing all of the fights and I’m beating some of the best guys in the world, I don’t really see myself losing.
And when will Hunt retire?
When god says it’s time for you to finish your career with an injury, or UFC says ‘get out of here,’ he said. “It’s one of the two things.
