BJ Penn and Matt Hughes will meet in the co-headliner of UFC 123 this Saturday night, as both champions continue down different career paths. Hughes is riding a three-fight win streak and Penn has lost two fights in the lightweight division — but will move up in weight to the welterweight division.
Hughes doesn’t have title aspirations or records on his mind, and plans to just see what happens.
I’m going out there and have a good time, Hughes recently said to MMA Fighting. I just go out and have fun. I try to cut all the pressure away. I’m not going out there trying not to lose. I’m trying to win and having a good time.
