Holly Holm hurt, out of fight with Raquel Pennington at UFC 181
Holly Holm has suffered a neck injury, and is now out of her fight with Raquel Pennington at UFC 181 on Dec. 6 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Brazilian language site mmabyneko.com.br first reported and multiple sources have now confirmed that former boxing world champion and current UFC women’s bantamweightHolly Holm has suffered an injury. She is now out of her fight with Raquel Pennington at UFC 181 on Dec. 6 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
SWFight.com reports that it was a neck injury, and happened about two weeks ago during wrestling practice, while shooting for a takedown. Holm reportedly suffered discomfort in her neck and shoulders, and got an MRI. It is now believed she will not fight until early next year.
