An injury to Charles Oliveira brought an unceremonious end to a headliner with Max Holloway in the headliner of UFC Fight Night 74.
After several spirited exchanges, Oliveira (20-5 MMA, 8-5 UFC) gripped his collarbone and dropped to his back on the mat midway through the opening frame, awarding Holloway (14-3 MMA, 10-3 UFC) his seventh straight win in the UFC’s octagon.
The featherweight bout was the main event of today’s event at SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. It aired on FOX Sports 1 following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
