Hey guys. Thank you all for your support. I still need your help to keep this issue alive. I can’t just let this die. The judges gave me that fight, and I need to get that no contest changed to a win. This is not just important for me, but this is important for all of the mma world that this kind of behavior is not tolerated. I have recently been contacted by a lawyer, and I know that if this happened in the US, the promoters could go to jail for fixing a sporting event. The following is a letter from Lu Dwyer’s Facebook page which she posted today in her status updates. For some background info, read my first post “The Most Obvious Fix in MMA”. I’m not friends with Lu on Facebook or in real life, but one of my real life friends who is friends with Lu on Facebook (not in real life) forwarded her rant to me in an e-mail. Gotta love cut and paste! Dang, she couldn’t even get the spelling of my name right. I left the letter unaltered, although I was really tempted to go through and edit the really annoying caps lock and unnecessary quotation marks. But maybe she really was yelling through the computer screen, so on second thought, the caps could be good stylistic device in this case. Or maybe not. Enjoy.

Okay. Wasn’t that fun? Now, I wouldn’t have thought this letter blog worthy if not for Lu Dwyer threatening me with the “LARGEST LAWSUIT IN HISTORY”. Larger than the Walmart female worker discrimination case? That’s a lot of money. Not just me either, but all those fans on the forums who called her names. And Mike Chiappetta? She’s gonna try to sue a respected journalist for calling her and asking for her side of the story? He hasn’t even written anything yet.
I’m pretty sure if “Family Guy” can get away with their jokes, I can get away with calling Lu Dwyer crooked. I’m protected by the First Amendment of the United States Constitution. I didn’t point at her when calling her crooked either. It’s all on the Youtube video “Total Corruption-Franca vs Kheder Fixed Fight”. And for the record, I never called her a “BLONDE BITCH” or even an “OLD LADY.” Those were comments made by fans on Youtube and the UG forums. I read some forums, but I’ve never posted anything on any MMA forum. And I don’t need to resort to name calling. I have the facts, so I’ll just stick to telling the truth.
Lu, if you’re reading this, I get it; you’re frustrated and scared. You’re frustrated in that you took part in this colossal mistake, and scared that you will be exposed as a corrupt promoter by a credible investigative journalist like Mike Chiappetta. If you’re so innocent, why wouldn’t you give him a comment? Tell him your side of the story. The truth will set you free. Oh wait, fixing a sporting event is a crime, so maybe telling the truth will do the just the opposite.
I can’t wait to read Chiapetta’s story, due out in a couple days. We’ll see whose version of the events that transpired on December 19th the judges and the referee will collaborate with. Suddenly all of this “DAMAGING UNFOUNDED GARBAGE” will simply be damaging and founded journalism. I already spoke with the ref and two out of three judges from that night. And if Ferrid Kheder really won the fight, why would you have it changed to a no contest to begin with? That’s pretty much an admission of guilt right there. What ever happened to personal pride and just being accountable for one’s own mistakes?
So the saga continues, and there’s more to come. Here I go stirring the hornets nest some more, shooting at it with my Red Rider like when I was a kid. This isn’t going to die like Lu Dwyer hopes. Lu Dwyer is acting like I’m spearheading this thing, but the funny thing is, it’s out of my hands. Hermes and I may have started this snowball, but now it’s rolling down the hill and picking up speed without us pushing. Stay tuned folks. Whatever the future may bring.
