In what I’m sure is music to UFC President Dana White’s ear, referee Herb Dean has been announced to work the UFC 162 main event title fight between Anderson Silva and Chris Weidman. White has had some major issues with Steve Mazzagatti and I’m sure his happy Dean will control the action in the most important fight of the night:
On Friday, NSAC instead assigned the man that White considers the best in the business, as Herb Dean was unanimously approved for the spot.
Adalaide Byrd, Marcos Rosales and Patricia Morse Jarman were chosen as the judges for the July 6 headlining match, which will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
