In the unofficial welterweight grand prix on Saturday evening at UFC 158: St-Pierre vs. Diaz, the 170-pound stars of the company also pocketed all of the post-fight bonuses. Johny Hendricks and Carlos Condit took home Fight of the Night honors while Jake Ellenberger earned the Knockout of the Night distinction for his first-round stoppage of Nate Marquardt. There were no submission victories at UFC 158 and therefore no award winner. Each recipient pocketed $50,000 for their efforts.
The announcement of winners was made by UFC President Dana White at Saturday’s post-fight press conference.
