He didn’t
“In the third round there was a dark substance on your shorts,” the reporter asked Yoel Romero. “What was that substance? Was it just sweat? What was it exactly?”

Mixed martial arts is the ultimate test of an athlete, showcasing, as it does, extraordinary courage, endurance, and even nobility. Other times, really funny stuff happens.
At UFN 35 Wednesday night, Yoel Romero got The UG buzzing in abundance. While a well timed Superman punch can cause and audience to gasp, there is nothing that gets a reaction quite like a dick punch.
And then a bunch of fans looked really, really carefully at his tight purple fight shorts, and thought they saw… something.
At the post fight press conference one intrepid reporter actually asked…
“This is a funny question,” said the reporter accurately. “In the third round there was a dark substance on your shorts. There was some funny stuff on Twitter.com during the fight, videos going around. What was that substance? Was it just sweat? What was it exactly?”
The former Olympic wrestler for Cuba answered through a translator.
“It was water, sweat,” replied the fighter.
Even if he did, UFC welterweight Jason High put it all into perspective.

•Everybody laughing at Yoel Romero but really what’s the most you’ve accomplished while taking a s—?
•You gotta own that *s—*
It happened eight years less one day from the infamous evening Tim Sylvia beat Assuerio Silva at UFN 3, on January 16, 2006.
“I got really sick Saturday and had problems holding my innards,” said Sylvia at the time. “When I was warming up, I had a few problems, and I actually had a few problems in the ring when I was fighting. I caught something, and I just couldn’t hold in my number twos… If you look at the fight you’ll see that when my shorts came down, you’ll see the wet mark in my underwear.”
So that little piece of UFC history still stands alone.
