Vladimir Matyushenko opened the round swinging wildly only to get popped in the face with a straight right that stumbles him. Gustafsson with a front kick and jab combination. Alexander Gustafsson landed a jab that dropped Vladimir Matyushenko and then swarmed with punches which forced referee Yves Levigne to stop the fight. The replay showed that Matyushenko ran into the jab which put him on his butt.
