After a 5 bout win streak was snapped by a 0:47 second loss to Joe Lauzon, Melvin Guillard moved his training to Florida and joined the Blackzilians. Guillard would spend 2012 in Florida with his team and in that time went only 1-3 in his UFC bouts, dropping bouts to Jim Miller, Donald Cerrone, and Jamie Varner. His sole win in that time, a decision over Fabricio Camoes.
Today we learn that Guillard is now heading back to Team Jackson’s in New Mexico, perhaps hoping to turn around his career before it’s too late:
