Mission Skincare, Gatorade, and Under Armour all understand the importance of timing: GSP’s popularity is spiking right now and this is the way to leverage that awareness in a way that also builds their own products.
The commercial itself is well done – doesn’t come as a shock. It’ll be interesting to see how/if they chop it up to make a real 30 second spot for Spike or CBS events; it would even be useful for non-MMA television.
