Georges St-Pierre, the greatest welterweight in UFC, is one of the few fighters with big out of competition sponsors and advertising opportunities. GSP has in the past done marketing for Bud Light, including breaking a bottle on a fan’s head.

St-Pierre is now helping unveil Bud Light Living Rooms, with the veteran voice of the Octagon, Bruce Buffer. Tape was released showing backstage footage of the filming.

“So Georges, I remember that great fight with Matt Hughes, when you knocked him out with that kick,” began Buffer. “What was that kick?”

GSP, whose background is in Kyokushin karate, replied using Japanese terminology.

“Mawashi-geri,” said the fighter.

“I want to see it again,” said Buffer. “Will you do it for me one more time?”

GSP had a one word reply – “absolutely.”

GSP said he would be ready to fight, after October. In response, the UFC canceled a planned title shot vs. middleweight champion Michael Bisping. Hopefully, the delay is not due to marketing and media commitments like this one. GSP will always be a good and popular dude. But at 35, he won’t always be young enough to fight for a title in a second weight division, and move towards being the undisputed MMA G.O.A.T.

Plus, if you is going to beat up a beer, it should be a competitor. Fun fact, the world’s best-selling beer is called Snow, and it’s yellow in color.
