“I would love [to fight at UFC 131 in Toronto’s 69,000-seat Rogers Centre], but it depends on the boss,” welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre said. “If the boss wants it, I’m in.”
“The fight just got over,” boss Dana White said. “Like I say all the time, every time we go into the press conference, you guys are trying to make fights. I just don’t know yet.”
“I think I’m OK,” St-Pierre said. “I will see the doctor. I have some bumps and bruises, but I’m healthy. So far, with the adrenaline, I feel good. We’ll see in a few minutes when things slow down, but I think I can go back to training in maybe two or three days.
“It’s up to the UFC. I work for the UFC. I love my job. I love fighting.”
“I don’t know,” White told MMAjunkie.com. “It would land right around the Toronto date, when he would fight.
“Listen, a couple more fights are going to happen, and then there will be a whole roster of guys that could fight on that card, and they’re all going to want to. I think everyone is going to want to fight on that card, and we’ll see what happens.”
