Early in his fight with Jake Shields at UFC 139 GSP received an accidental poke to the eye that left him without sight in the eye, and thus without depth perception. Trainer Greg Jackson told him “You’ve got one eye. It’s fine.” And it was – GSP took a unanimous decision, ending Shields’ 14-fight win streak.
Now GSP reports positiive news via twitter:
My eye is back 100%!!! Can’t wait to start back training tomorrow!
