Grasso misses weight for UFC 114
It was the first time Alex Grasso missed weight in eleven fights, and the fight will go on, but Grasso will forfeit 20% of her purse to opponent Randa Markos.
All fighters but one officially made weight for UFC Fight Night 114 in Mexico City, Mexico. Headliners Sergio Pettis and Brandon Moreno came in at exactly 126 pounds, but co-headliner Alexa Grasso missed the strawweight non-title mark by three pounds. It was the first time she had missed weight in her eleven fights, although she had to use a towel in her last fight, to make weight vs. Felice Herrig at UFC Fight Night 104 in February.
The fight will go on, but Grasso will forfeit 20% of her purse.
