Two of the greatest, most exciting strikers in mixed martial arts are set to fight at Madison Square Garden, on November 4 at UFC 217. After both fighters campaigned for it, Jorge ‘Gamebred’ Masvidal and Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson got their wish.

Masvidal recently had a ferocious three-fight win streak broken when he lost a split decision to Demian Maia at UFC 211 in May. Thompson had been on a seven-fight win streak before earning a draw and then a loss vs. division champion Tyron Woodley.
