This Saturday night, GLORY 87 goes down live from the Rotterdam Ahoy arena in the Netherlands and it promises to be another exciting night of kickboxing action, live around the world on GLORYFights.com and exclusively on Videoland in the Netherlands.

Taking center stage is the four-man, one-night heavyweight tournament where the winner punches his ticket into the historic end of year GLORY heavyweight grand prix and a chance to win a life-changing $500,000.

The brackets were drawn weeks ago with the two monsters Uku Jurjendal (18-7, 14 KO) and Martin Terpstra (21-5, 11 KO) going head-to-head on one side, while the more dynamic Bahram Rajabzadeh (63-1, 57 KO) and Mohamed Amine (29-5, 16 KO) meet on the other.

Literally anything can happen in this tournament, and each entrant arguably has an equal chance of winning. One thing is for certain though: The final will be a guaranteed clash of styles and attributes as one of the bigger stronger heavyweights will go against one of the smaller but quicker fighters from the other semifinal.

Acting as a co-main event, but could easily headline any card this year, is a GLORY lightweight title fight between the reigning & defending champion Tyjani Beztati (24-4, 9 KO) and Japanese superstar Kaito Ono (48-6-1, 21 KO).

At just 25-years-old, Beztati has emerged as one of the top kickboxers on the planet today. Having won the title at GLORY 78 in 2021, the Moroccan has defended it against a host of top contenders such as Canada’s Josh Jauncey, Bulgaria’s Stoyan Koprivlenski, and, most recently, featherweight champ Petchpanomrung Kiatmoo9.

Also on the main card, the always exciting Michael Boapeah (15-3-1) meets German veteran Sergej Braun (43-12, 27 KO) in a rematch, former welterweight champion Murthel Groenhart (69-26-3, 40 KO) takes on the challenge of younger German Cihad Akipa (49-11, 18 KO), and rising Dutch star Jan Kaffa (19-3, 7 KO) will be aiming to continue his climb through the ranks when he goes against Morocco’s Mohamed El Hammouti (7-1, 4 KO).
