Rumor has it that Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion Gegard “The Dreamcatcher” Mousasi will make his professional boxing debut in the Heavyweight Division on January 8, 2010 on a fight card in Glendale, California.
Mousasi won the Netherlands’ Amateur Boxing Championship at the age of 16.
An official announcement is expected by Monday.

ESPN2’s Friday Night Fights broadcast will begin at 7:00pm Pacific.
