Although UFC events in the United Kingdom are not regulated by an athletic commission, the UFC still randomly drug tests athletes. At UFC Fight Night 37, Gaudinot defeated Phil Harris in only seventy-three seconds, but subsequently tested positive for an illegal substance:

MMAjunkie today learned the results of the test from a UFC official after Harris revealed the development via social media. As is often the case when the UFC hosts events in international locations without an athletic commission in place to oversee the event, the promotion self-regulated the fight card.

Gaudinot has also been suspended six months from the March 8 date of the the UFC Fight Night 37 event and must submit a clean drug test before returning to action. He was not fined for the failed test.
