Dustin Poirier was supposed to be the first real test for Conor McGregor. Poirier was a veteran of the UFC, 8-2 inside the Octagon, and riding a three fight win streak at the time they fought at UFC on Fuel TV in Sweden.

McGregor won the fight by first round TKO and it solidified him as one of the division’s top fighters.
