I knew out in the open I felet like I was a superior boxer … I just knew he had a very good advantage in an up close fight, against the cage. It became a problem of over training for one aspect. I was kind of celebrating mentally like “Hey look I can avoid the takedown now – I’ve improved my game.”
I forgot about getting punched in the face.
I’m 30 years old and I have to start over.
