Frank Fertitta Jr. passes away

Station Casinos owner Frank Fertitta Jr. died at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles this morning. Family members say he suffered from heart problems.

Fertitta got his start in Las Vegas as a dealer at the Stardust Casino in the early 1960’s. He opened Station Casinos after seeing a need for a casino that catered to locals.
