Four fighters earn 50k bonuses at UFN 62
Bogota, Colombia’s Fredy Serrano had just one fight before making his UFC debut, and won a $50,000 performance bonus on Saturday night at UFN 62.
No Fight of the Night bonus was awarded at UFC Fight Night 62 on March 21, 2015 at the Ginásio do Maracanãzinho in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Instead, the league handed out four $50,000 Performance of the Night bonuses:
Kevin Souza defeated Katsunori Kikuno by KO (Punch, Round 1, 1:31)
Gilbert Burns defeated Alex Oliveira by Submission (Armbar, Round 3, 4:14)
Godofredo Pepey defeated Andre Fili by Submission (Triangle Choke, Round 1, 3:14)
Fredy Serrano defeated Bentley Syler by Knockout (Punch, Round 3, 1:34)
The bonus must have been especially sweet for Serrano, who has only one fight on record, and was the first fight of the night, on the UFC Fight Pass portion of the card.
