Folksinger and UGer King Daniel announces world tour
Riding on the success of his Conor McGregor inspired viral single “There’s Only One” folk singer (and UGer fornasadj) King Daniel begins an ambitious international tour.
Riding on the success of his viral single There’s Only One (a folk anthem penned in support of Irish UFC champion Conor Mcgregor) LA folk singer (and 10+ year UGer fornasadj) King Daniel will sample songs from his upcoming album Indian Summer at Hollywood hot spot Harvard & Stone in LA on October 12th. This marks the beginning of an ambitious international tour with key performances in LA, New York, Dublin, Ireland, and Las Vegas.
After over 10,000 downloads (nearly half from Irish fans) King Daniel will make his highly anticipated European debut at Whelan’s on November 25th, in the heart of Dublin City, Ireland. There he is excited to sing on the same stage frequented by modern folk legends such as Damien Rice, Glen Hansard, and Ed Sheeran.
Following a short run overseas, King Daniel will continue to tent pole shows in NYC and Philadelphia before traveling west to UFC 194 fight week in Las Vegas. In Vegas, he will end the tour with a headlining show at The Beauty Bar on December 10th, just two days prior to the long anticipated McGregor vs. Aldo championship fight at the MGM Grand on December 12th. A studio version of King Daniel’s folk anthem There’s Only One has been licensed by the UFC and other sports networks for use in the promotion of the UFC 194 supercard and can be heard prior to its official release here.
Throughout his travels, King Daniel hopes to drop in at local jiujitsu academies and continue his own training in preparation for a scheduled No-Gi Superfight at Gracie Nationals in LA this January. Keep up with the fighting folk singer at kingdaniel.co.uk.
