UFC lightweight contender Kenny Florian has been hospitalized in Boston with a staph infection in his right knee. The two-time title challenger returned from vacationing in Antigua on Sunday and was admitted to the hospital after a checkup visit earlier Monday, according to his brother and trainer Keith Florian.

Florian should be released in two to three days after the regimen of antibiotics has been completed.
