America’s first regulated slap competition league, SlapFIGHT Championship, has announced their 25th pro slapping event.

SlapFIGHT 25 takes place Saturday, April 22 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and features a ground breaking main event.

Five-time UFC heavyweight champion Tim “The Maine-iac” Sylvia becomes the first former MMA legend to compete in this controversial new combat sport.

“We are extremely excited for the debut of Tim Sylvia at SlapFIGHT,” CEO J.T. Tilley stated. “Tim has joined us as a guest cornerman during our past two underground events, and the excitement of the sport has captured his focus. He has reached a multi-fight agreement with SFC and we look forward to seeing him in competition on April 22.”

Sylvia (31-10 MMA, 0-0 SFC) will face super heavyweight contender “Bulldozer” (1-0 SFC) in the SlapFIGHT 25 main event. With a combined weight of over 650 pounds, this matchup promises fireworks.

Also on the card, a Middleweight title match between champion “Monkey Wrench” and top contender “The Bayou Bastard,” as well as several undercard matches featuring slappers from Tennessee, Louisiana, Missouri, Iowa, Oklahoma, California, Massachusetts, Maryland and Texas.

The LIVE pay-per-view and rebroadcast will be available for purchase on FITE and SlapFIGHT.live. It will also be broadcast internationally on SPORT1.

Tickets to the live event can be purchased online at SlapFIGHT.live.
