After two split decisions, at UFC 148 the judges were finally unanimous, with all three judges gaving Forrest Griffin the first two rounds, and Tito Ortiz the third.

Many fans felt that Tito earned the decision, in what is his final fight. However, Fightmetric backed up the judges decision, but there was a curious exception.

STRIKING: Griffin has advantage

GRAPPLING: Tito has advantage

OVERALL: Griffin has advantage:

HOWEVER… There was a strange difference in the scoring. Although Griffin won the overall score as seen above, a round by round breakdown shows Tito winning Round 1, with Forrest taking 2 and 3.

Either way Griffin wins, but the numbers a curious note to the last time we will see The People’s Champ fight in the Octagon.
