On Saturday night at UFC 207, the most famous figure in mixed martial arts history lost for the second time. The response on social networks was often scathing. Considering the source of much of vitriol, it was hard to take seriously, and indeed spoke more to the character of the writer than that of the fighter.
Whatever the merits of Rousey being able to defeat a male fighter, you best beliebe Rousey could take this pop star. Of course, he is neither a fighter, nor exactly male.
you just got knocked the fuck out

However, among the more inventive jibes was a video from undefeated English Bellator welterweight Michael ‘Venom” Page, who offered a new dance craze.
“Happy New Year Everyone!!! This is the first Dance of 2017,” he wrote on Instagram. “I want to see who can do the best Rousey skank, post your Videos and hashtag #dotherousey.”

Rousey’s boyfriend, UFC heavyweight Travis Browne, was not impressed.
“F*** you,” wrote Browne, without the stars. “I’m ready anytime b****.”
Browne then deleted the tweet. However, Page continued unabated.
The next one was captioned, “When you get coached by your………….
“FRIENDS.” Great advice #headmovement #pivot #shutupshutupshutup.”

Rousey was repeatedly ungracious in victory, perhaps most notably when she refused to shake hands with Miesha Tate after defeating her.

There is an unfortunate human propensity to kick people when they are down. It always lurks, and blooms brightest when the downed human has some character flaw that unfetters the impulse to kick away. Still, doing so is as ungracious as Rousey ever was. If you don’t like Rousey, and want to see her in pain, she already is.
