It was quite a week for WAMMA heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko. With his title fight vs. Josh Barnett at Affliction and M-1’s “Trilogy” event on Aug. 1 officially announced, Fedor participated in a whirlwind press tour that included stops in New York, Los Angeles, Kansas City, and St. Louis.
Along the way, Emelianenko’s press tour include multiple press conferences, interviews with AOL’s MMA Fanhouse and FoxNews.com, a photo shoot for an upcoming feature story in FIGHT! magazine, an appearance at the M-1 Challenge in Kansas City, as well as a live interview on Showtime during Strikeforce’s “Lawler vs. Shields” event in St. Louis this past Saturday.
