Fedor: I want a rematch with UFC champion Werdum

Now after his return, it looks as though he is again in talks with the world’s largest fight promotion and wants to fight champion Fabricio Werdum, who beat him in their first fight.

Fedor Emelianenko recently made his successful return to MMA, albeit against a very inexperienced opponent. It was rumored the legendary Russian fighter had discuss his return with the UFC, but the two sides were unable to come to terms. Now after his return, it looks as though he is again in talks with the world’s largest fight promotion and wants to fight champion Fabricio Werdum, who beat him in their first fight:

“Maybe it will happen in the future.”

The fighter seemed to suggest that being granted a fight against the champion Werdum could be the key to him signing with the UFC. According to Fedor, he’s ready and willing to take on the Brazilian, again.

“I would like to have a rematch against Fabricio Werdum,” he said, again.

“I’ve told the UFC many times that I want and would accept that fight.”
