Fedor: Hendo told me not to retire

A bruised Fedor Emelianenko returned to Russia, and revealed what Dan Henderson whispered in his ear only a few moments after Herb Dean’s dramatic stoppage.

“He asked me not to retire, and to continue fighting. (Dan) thanked me for fighting him, and said that he has been following my career in Mixed Martial Arts,” said Fedor, who immediately related to the decision making process about his possible retirement. “If God wants, we’ll continue fighting. Right now, I just want to be with my family, and my new-born daughter.”
