As expected, Fedor Emelianenko (31-4) has opted against retirement.

Vadim Finkelstein, co-founder of M-1 Global and Emelianenko’s manager, today confirmed the recent Strikeforce fighter will fight in his native Russia in “late fall.”

Emelianenko, once considered the world’s MMA pound-for-pound kingpin, looks to snap a three-fight losing skid”

“We have already reached all the necessary agreements on his fight,” Finkelstein stated on m-1global.com.

However, a date, venue and opponent haven’t been determined.
