Faber ‘released from friendship’ hopes to fight TJ
Urijah Faber on fighting TJ DIllashaw: “I’ve been released from the friendship. So, I’m going to train my butt off and I’m hoping I get that call and I’ll be ready.”
Saturday night again saw former WEC featherweight champion Urijah Faber at the top of the undercard on a major PPV, this time vs. a very tough Frankie Saenz. He is placed there because he can so consistently deliver excitement sufficient to get casual fans to part with $59.99 to watch the three hours of television that follow.
UFC bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw famously broke with Fabers’ Team Alpha Male, and now a fight between the two seems a natural.
