The Singapore-based facility is offering free training and accommodations to any mixed martial arts fighter meeting the above criteria, subject to approval from head coach Heath Sims.
Fighters who have traveled to Singapore to train at Evolve MMA in recent years include Rich Franklin, Tyron Woodley, Joseph Benavidez, Dan Henderson, and Joe Warren, while members of the full time fight team include Rafael dos Anjos, Ben Askren, and Shinya Aoki.
With ONE Championship headquartered in Singapore and UFC setting up nearby Asian offices, the country has emerged as the epicenter of Asian MMA. With western standard amenities and an international airport, it’s also an attractive destination for mixed martial artists all over the world wanting to train.
Evolve MMA is perhaps the only training camp in the world to provide every member of its fight team with a competitive salary and accommodation allowance, as well as unlimited access to training. Among the trainers are former Lumpinee champions Namsaknoi Yudthagarngamtorn and Orono Wor Petchpun, former boxing world champion Yodsanan Sityodtong, and former wrestling Olympian Heath Sims, as well as nine Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) black belts.
