Future UFC Hall of Famer Rashad Evans is 38, and on a four-fight losing streak. He dropped to middleweight for his last two fights, but lost split decisions to Daniel Kelly and Sam Alvey. Now ESPN has announced that Evans is returning to 205 at UFC 225, vs. Anthony Smith.

Evans entered the UFC at heavyweight winning The Ultimate Fighter 2 on November 5, 2005, but immediately returned to his natural light heavyweight, and spent most of his career there. Given the move in the sport away from extreme weight cutting, the move up is good news.

Smith too is moving up to 205, after a decade of fighting professionally, and recently suffering through terrible weight cuts. He entered the UFC in 2016, and has gone 4-2, most recently losing a Round 2 TKO to Thiago Santos at UFC Fight Night 125 on February 3, 2018.

UFC 225 will be held on June 9, 2018, at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
