2010 started out for Anthony Pettis with a highlight reel head kick knockout of Danny Castillo, and ended with the first-ever appearance of the Showtime Kick that rattled Ben Henderson’s brain.
ESPN SportsCenter named their Top Plays for all of 2010 on Friday and Pettis’ kick came in at No. 8 for the year. The move was replayed on ESPN several times during the week following his fight against Ben Henderson, and now it can be called one of the top plays for the entire year.
