Lightweights Efrain Escudero (13-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) and John Gunderson (23-7-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) have been targeted for UFC Fight Night 22.
Multiple sources close to the event today told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that at least one fighter has signed off on the bout and verbal agreements are in place. The bout’s position on the fight card is unknown.
UFC Fight Night 22 takes place Sept. 15 at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas, and airs live on Spike TV.
