MEDELLIN, Colombia – Empire MMA is back in action, this time in Medellin, Colombia on Saturday, November 19, as Colombian bantamweight Jhon Rodriguez Tacha (9-2) and Ecuador’s Julio “Voltio” Davila (12-6) face off in the main event of “Empire MMA III” presented
by Burger King Colombia at Knock Out Beer Fest at Parque Ecologico Los Salados.

The weigh-in for “Empire MMA III” will be streamed live on Instagram from Burger King in the
Gran Via. The weigh-in is on Friday, November 18 at 2 p.m. ET, and Empire MMA III is Saturday, November 19 at 7 p.m. ET. The fight card will stream live on MixedMartialArts.com.

“Empire MMA III” will also feature the return to the cage of top Argentinian prospect Luz Vazquez (2-0). The former Argentina national team wrestler has crossed over to mixed martial arts to launch her long-awaited professional career. She will take on an MMA veteran in Brazil’s Nubia Nascimento (8-9-1) in a featherweight matchup.

“I’m happy and enjoying the process. I’ve been waiting for this for a long time, and I feel it is my time to shine,” Vazquez said. “I haven’t fought in a while, but at my best, I feel that I will be one of the top fighters in the world.”

“Empire MMA III” will feature two live broadcasts. MixedMartialArts.com will feature an English broadcast featuring top-10 Bellator featherweight Alejandra “Azul” Lara and lead play-by-play announcer Ben Davis. The Spanish broadcast, featuring UFC veteran and Colombian Olympic wrestler Fredy Serrano, will be aired on the Empire MMA YouTube page.
