Popular Norwegian Viking Emil Meek (9-6) will make his KSW debut this Saturday at KSW 72 live from Kielce, Poland, and available to watch around the world on KSWTV.com and exclusively on Viaplay in selected regions.
The 33-year-old comes into KSW with a new found lease for life in MMA and feels that a rebirth is happening in KSW starting with this weekend.
“It is difficult to put into words, but I must honestly say that it feels like I have risen from the dead,” stated Meek. “I have been given another chance and a spark that has set my heart on fire.”
Meek faces Kacper Koziorzebski (8-4) in what has all the potential to be a barnburner. Kozierzebski is 2-2 in KSW with two “of the night” bonuses so far in his KSW career and will be aiming to earn another while also scoring the biggest win of his career.
“Valhalla” joins a wave of international talent on KSW 72 with undefeated French light heavyweight Oumar Sy (6-0), Luxembourg’s No. 1 MMA fighter Yann Liasse (7-1), and Croatian sensation Sara Luzar-Smajic (4-1) all in action. We will also see the KSW debuts of the Netherlands’ Brian Hooi (17-8) and Portugal’s Gustavo Oliveira (8-1).
Two of Poland’s best welterweights Tomasz Romanowski (15-8) and Andrzej Grzebyk (18-5) will collide in the main event of the evening while two top Polish prospects Dawid Smielowski (9-0) and Patryk Kaczmarczyk (8-1) meet in the co-main event!
