#3 lightweight contender Tony Ferguson spoke recently with MMAjunkie ahead of his fight Saturday night with #2 ranked Rafael dos Anjos in the division. RDA is the former champion

Former division champion Rafael dos Anjos is coming off a title loss to Eddie Alvarez to UFC Fight Night 90 on July 7. ‘El Cucuy’ is on an extraordinary nine-fight win streak, with the last four winning a cumulative two Fight of the Night bonuses, and three Performance of the Night awards.

I see quit, said Ferguson as transcribed by John Morgan and videographer Justin Park. I’ve seen him quit in his video. I’ve seen when he fought a couple of people, and I saw him go in the corner frustrated – and I do that to every fighter I fight. Barboza, Thomson, those are the two best fights that I’ve ever had because they gave me what I wanted, which was a fight.

He’s going to try and hit me with some knees and some other stuff. I do hard body conditioning, baby. You hit me with everything that you’ve got, and you give me the fight that I want. You better bring that s*** RDA.

I see it going down in a finish, whether knockout or submission. I’m going to aim for bloody.

The next 10 days will lend needed clarity to the muddled UFC lightweight title picture. Either #3 Ferguson or #2 dos Anjos will rise or fall on Saturday. Then the following Saturday #1 ranked contender Khabib Nurmagomedov fights #6 Michael Johnson. And more importantly still, division champion Eddie Alvarez fights featherweight champion Conor McGregor.
