Tuesday, June 12th marks the return of the popular weekly fight show ‘Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series’.
The series, which airs exclusively on UFC Fight Pass features five bouts between local stand outs fighting live in front of UFC President Dana White and UFC matchmakers to try and earn a contract with the world’s top MMA promotion.

Heavyweight: Alonzo Menifield defeated Dashawn Boatwright via TKO (punches) at 0:08 of Round 1
Welterweight: Chris Curtis defeated Sean Lally via KO (hook kick and punches) at 1:37 of Round 3
Heavyweight: Greg Hardy defeated Austen Lane via KO (punches) at 0:57 of Round 1
Bantamweight: Montel Jackson defeated Rico DiSciullo via TKO (punches) at 2:15 of Round 3
Middleweight: Kevin Holland defeated Will Santiago via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Two fighters were given UFC contracts, Alonzo Menifield and Greg Hardy. However, Hardy’s may be more developmental – he may sign a UFC contract, but fight in pro shows for a time before being dropped into the deep waters of the UFC heavyweight division.
And there was some bafflement that this didn’ get a contract.
