DW: hwt picture decided in 6 weeks

Nearly two months after UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar was forced to withdraw from a planned UFC 106 contest with challenger Shane Carwin, the former WWE star’s return to action is still an uncertainty.

So, too, is the heavyweight title picture, and several top contenders have been left on hold.

But UFC president Dana White recently told a small group of reporters that the cloudy picture should begin to clear in the next six weeks.

“We won’t know for probably another month-and-a-half,” White said. “[Lesnar] had that minor surgery. He’s going to change his diet, do some things, and see what happens.”
