Dustin Poirier’s emotional interview after heartbreaking loss

At UFC on FUEL 3 Dustin Poirier appeared for the first time in the main event, with the possibility of a title shot for the winner. Poirier was half of the Fight of the Night, but ultimately lost via Darse choke in the 4th round.

In a post fighter interview, he displayed the human emotion that is often hidden from the fans.

Ariel Helwani: This is your first loss in the UFC. Can you describe the emotions that you are feeling right now?

Dustin Poirier: I had a really long training camp and I put 100% of myself into the training camp … I care so much man, I let myself down. I deserved to win, my wife deserved for us to win.
