Dustin Poirier moves from 2-1 favorite to almost 2-1 underdog

Conor McGregor has become a hugely popular star in his home country of Ireland and as soon as the lines opened they began betting huge on McGregor.

Last week the UFC announced a fight between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier. Poirier is 9-2 in the UFC/WEC and as such opened as a 2-1 favorite over McGregor, who is 3-0 inside the Octagon.

However, Conor McGregor has become a hugely popular star in his home country of Ireland and as soon as the lines opened began betting huge on McGregor.

Originally Dustin Poirier opened up at -225 meaning a $225.00 would net the bettor $100.00. With the money moving towards McGregor, Poirier is now +170 meaning a $100.00 bet would net the bettor $170.00

McGregor opened as a +190 under dog meaning a $100.00 bet would net the bettor $190, but now sits at -190. Now a bettor must risk $190.00 to profit $100.00
