UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz has a unique and influential style of fighting and plays head games masterfully as well. Cruz fights Cody Garbrandt at UFC 207 on December 30, and is not just in No Love’s head, he basically exploded it.
It began when Cruz told off Garbrandt’s insanely mediagenic girlfriend Lena Pimsanguan recently, via MMAGifs. Mediagenic means hot.
Ms. Pimsanguan’s Instagram account is private, but a screenshot revealed the shenanigans.

Garbrandt was offended by the unchivalrous remarks.

Ordinarily, a world-class fighter with a 10-0 record, nine via KO, threatening to cave in one’s f@$%ing skull would be cause for concern. The thing is of, course, that the more upset Garbrandt gets, the happier Cruz is. Garbrandt’s irate remarks will make Cruz far happier than would any compliment Garbrandt could devise.
And they haven’t even stepped into the Octagon yet. This round goes to The Dominator.
Cruz is coming off a Unanimous Decision over Urijah Faber at UFC 199 on June 4, 2016. Garbrandt is coming off a first round TKO of Takeya Mizugaki at UFC 202 on August 20, 2016. It was No Love’s third first round T/KO in a row. Garbrandt has the power to KO Cruz, or a large rock; the hard part will be hitting him. And the hardest thing of all may be staying cool enough to hit him.
