John Dodson arguably gave flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson his toughest fight ever, a five round decision in 2013. Now with a second chance to take Johnson’s flyweight title, Dodson feels more prepared than ever and believes he should be the champion:

I don’t hate Demetrious Johnson, but I hate the fact that he has something that belongs to me and that I should have already, Dodson said at a recent media luncheon to promote the pair’s UFC 191 headliner. That belt is mine, and this is a false king that everyone is putting up for the pound-for-pound champion. He’s No. 3 and he could possibly move up to No. 2, and he’s doing such amazing things, but I’ve shut him down, and I’ve shut guys above our weight class down, as well.

T.J. Dillashaw, I’ve already destroyed him, and he’s talking about how he should be up on the pound-for-pound list. These guys are all just frustrating me and it’s bothering me because I’m better than both of them.
