But to win the tournament, the Brazilian used a super-slick submission just as Dennis Bermudez was about to pound his way to a stoppage win over him.

The stunning fight conclusion was part of the main card of The Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale, which aired on Spike TV following prelims on Facebook. The event took place at The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

Brandao punched his ticket to the final with three consecutive first-round knockouts, but Bermudez decided to play his game in the 16-man tourney’s conclusion, which co-headlined the event.
