UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt and former champion T.J. Dillashaw don’t get along so they gotta get it on. The pair were teammates at Team Alpha Male, but developed into bitter enemies when friction grew between TAM founder Urijah Faber and coach Duane Ludwig. Ludwig and Dillashaw left in 2015, and the groups have squabbled since. The enmity is not institutionalized, as opposing coaches on The Ultimate Fighter 25.

A recurring issue has been the purported existence of a tape showing Garbrandt knocking out Dillashaw in practice. Both Garbrandt and new TAM head coach Justin Buchholz have repeatedly claimed it exists. TMZ has even reportedly offered $50,000 for it.

Garbrandt recently offered to sell the tape, with all the proceeds going to the charity of Dillashaw’s choice.

Dillashaw replied during a recent interview on UFC Unfiltered. And he took a dig at Garbrandt’s having been raised by a single mother.

I told him to go for it,” said Dillashaw, as transcribed by Jed Meshew for MMA Fighting. “Release it, because I, for one, don’t believe it and even if he did, I agree with Matt, I think it’s petty. I think they’re reaching. It’s something like, we put this time and sweat and tears into the gym, and he’s got this one clip of him doing good. What about the 70% of the time that I was doing awesome that Buchholz has footage of? You know what, I could care less what happened then. I get to make, on pay-per-view, some film of me beating Cody’s ass that the world’s going to see and I’m going to make a lot more than selling it to TMZ. So they can do whatever they want with the practice room because we all know how it went down. So I could care less. Release the footage. The charity should be something for kids without fathers so they don’t grow up to act like Cody.

That dig in turn set off another round of bickering on Twitter.
