“I’ve been saying this for 10 years, that eventually television is all going to the Internet,” White told MMAjunkie.com. “You’re going to be watching everything on the Internet. The world is getting smaller and smaller, and everybody is going to be plugged in.

“Like this ‘Kid’ Yamamoto fight. It’s not just people in the U.S. People everywhere have been asking for it. As we have these television deals, people in the U.K. and Australia and all these other countries, they get those other fights, and they wanted this fight, too. Everybody can watch it.”

“It’s what we’ve been talking about for 10 years. This is what I’ve been talking about where the whole world can watch at the same time. We’re getting there.”

“What I like about the Facebook part of it is the social media portion of it. It’s people connecting with other people. My thing is, and this is my philosophy about fights, everybody wants to see a fight. The problem is letting everybody know that it’s on.

“There’s so much different programming and so much going on in everybody’s lives, it’s about people knowing it’s on. Through the social media, whether it’s Twitter or Facebook, it’s people connecting with people – millions of people talking and letting people know what’s going on.”

“People are so rabid and want to see every fight. Why would I not want to show them every fight?”

“People used to always bitch about that, but you have to look back to when we started this thing. First, DirecTV was the only one that would carry us. Then once we got that taken care of, we got DirecTV, DISH Network and iN DEMAND. That was it. Then we got Spike TV, and as technology continues to grow, there’s more and more ways for me to distribute the content to the people that want to see it.

“They love to play me as the bad guy and say, ‘He wants to hold back the fights so he can charge them for it somewhere else.’ Yeah, OK. If I’m putting on the [expletive] fights, I want to get them to everybody if possible.”
